Trends in the Globalization of Sales Compensation

Companies are increasingly using common global sales roles to serve their customers. In support of these increasingly common global roles, companies are rationalizing their sales incentive plans globally at a record pace. And even companies who are not rationalizing to a common plan are incorporating global guidelines to ensure best practices are universally followed. All of this is being supported and enabled by the rapid increase in the use of sales performance management (SPM) software.

In this session, ZS sales compensation leaders will share results from their latest study which captured the latest trends in the globalization trend of sales compensation. They will also discuss best practices in how to go about globalizing your sales compensation programs for your organization.

alt Chad is a Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) with over 20 years consulting experience. He leads the Sales Compensation practice, helping clients create and implement motivational sales incentive plans and set fair and challenging sales quotas. Chad works in all industries, but spends most of his time in the medtech, high tech, travel and transportation, business services, financial services, and manufacturing industries.
alt Jean-Francois is a Principal with ZS in the Evanston office. He leads the ZS' Incentive Compensation Practice Area and has been working on Sales Compensation related issues for more than 15 years. He has strong expertise around incentive compensation benchmarking, design of compensation plans, IC plan auditing, harmonization of IC plans, incentives administration, and quotasetting. Prior to leading the overall incentive compensation practice, he was the lead for ex-US incentive compensation.

Liz is a Manager with ZS in the New York office. She is active in ZS's Incentive Compensation Practice Area and works with clients to help address their Sales Compensation challenges. In 2019, Liz will begin leading the Ex-US Incentive Compensation practice at ZS. Liz has been with ZS for five years with a focus on sales operations. She has strong expertise in Incentive Compensation plan design, launch design, goal setting and reporting.
